My name is Jessica Malouf and I am your new Youth Coordinator for DAHA's younger set. I am the proud co-owner with my husband Charles Malouf and manager of Malouf Arabian Stud, I have been "horse crazy" since I was "foaled". My training and background varies from behavioral issues, natural horsemanship, veterinary care, long distance riding, hunter/jumper, dressage, working western, liberty training, horseshoeing, and the breeding shed. I am currently working on meeting details, and plan to have a Youth Group schedule up and functioning by mid-September. Our first meeting should be scheduled for the third week in September, during that meeting a detailed list of goals will be set by our youth. I am hoping to make Lakeside the center for our activities so that it will be convenient for all. Meetings will be announced by postcard and email with follow up calls by youth members, so parents watch for announcements. My personal goal for the Youth Group is to provide a safe, democratic format for the kids to explore their potential in the Arabian horse world, horsemanship and compassion will be key elements in our success. Hope to see all the kids at our meetings!
